Bram Benderoff’s review published on Letterboxd:
Steve Coogan plays a journalist who helps Judi Dench find her son that was taken away from her years before when she was forced to stay at a convent. This is a fantastic film that is unexpectedly very funny considering the depressing and true subject matter. Coogan and Dench have terrific chemistry and are hilarious together. The film is pretty sad too. Quite remarkable overall. I think my parents would like it.
I'll give it 5 stars because it sticks with you.
