Christian Bale takes the trophy for best acting in this film. His acting is wonderful and different from what I have seen from him.

The acting overall in this film is impressive. The Boston accents, the intense fighting (physical and verbal), everything.

There is a lot of humorous parts throughout the film. The disfunction in the family is unfortunate but as a bystander (the viewer), you can’t help but be amused by the ridiculous bickering between family members in the…

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

    ★★★½

Jesse is a great character from the television series Breaking Bad so I was excited to see this film.

It turned out to be just another episode of Breaking Bad essentially. Following up where the series ended. The script, visuals, acting, etc was all up to the level the series had. This film neither surpasses nor loses the good content the series had.

I did feel some of the flashbacks felt unnecessary though.

Otherwise, a fun watch. Especially for Breaking Bad fans who have missed the show.

Phoenix adds a new spin to the Joker. A psychological look into the character’s motives and thoughts. The laugh is genius. It sounds like it is painful, which I think is an interesting choice. And to make the cause of…

    The NeverEnding Story

    ★★★½

I’ll admit, I didn’t know about this film until watching Stranger Things (season 3). Why I was never exposed to it as a child, I don’t know. I wish I was, because this film is a magical journey of wonder and awe.

The special effects in this film are so fun to watch. Some of the characters are so bizarre looking, in a good, otherworldly way. This fantasy world of Fantasia is so well developed within this one movie. I…
