I’m on a little trip for my 19th birthday and watched this while on the road.
I guess Bullet Train would say it was fate that brought me to watching it today. It’s a really fun movie. Loved the Quentin Tarantino/Agatha Christie/Japan super blend aesthetic in this.
I didn’t even know this movie existed until I saw its head-scratchingly high rating here on Letterboxd (currently hosting the likely to be short-lived 103 spot on the Letterboxd Top 250 as I’m typing). This movie, on paper, does not look like something that would garner such acclaim. On top of the intensely positive reviews my brother showed me one clip from the movie—and I knew I had to see it.
