Are my issues with this arising from still being in the afterglow of Into the Spider-Verse. A definite possibility. I love everything in that movie more than a single thing in this one, which really isn't even that much of an insult considering the regard I have for Spider-Verse.
Maybe not as funny as Homecoming, which I think I like more than the average Spider-Fan, but it's got enough jokes to pass the six laugh test, and it's strengths overcome some niggling weaknesses. It's a little annoying that three out of the four most intriguing bits of the plot come during the credits.
Jake Gyllenhall is so good in this and Tom Holland is the perfect Parker.
