  i was sitting at a 4 and a half star rating for the majority of this movie but as soon as the conversation between ruth and barbie happened and she hit me with the “we mothers stand still so our daughters can look back at how far they’ve come” it immediately went up. that whole montage with ‘what was i made for’ playing too. GOD I LOVE WOMEN 🩷

  no matter how old i get, i’ll always be a little girl at heart, and i will ALWAYS have a soft spot for disney princess movies. this was SO beautiful and magical i cannot, the urge to rewatch this 100x is real strong. halle bailey you were born to be a princess 🩵

  stunning performances from carey mulligan and zoe kazan, they are both so talented. such a heartbreaking story but one that needs to be told. my heart aches for all victims.
