    Spider-Man: No Way Home


    Everything I wanted and then some. The culmination of three generations of Spider-Man films, and a true love letter to the film legacy of the character. A true elevation above the other two films in the “Home” trilogy in almost every conceivable way. I was smiling ear to ear, and got teary eyed numerous times. One of the best Spider-Man movies ever made, and one of the best MCU films ever put to screen. If you can see it, see it in the biggest theater with the biggest crowd, and enjoy a true cinematic event.

  • Eternals



    While certainly flawed, Chloe Zhao and Marvel Studios’ Eternals soars more often than it falters, thanks to its all star cast, complex, thought provoking narrative, and sheer scope and scale. Not every character works, and some certainly could have used more development. Perhaps Eternals would have been better served as a Disney Plus series, to spend more time with these characters and to require less dry, lengthy expository dialogue, odd story beats, and an underwhelming villain, but ultimately the movie works well enough to satisfy fans of the MCU.

    Definitely not one of Nolan’s strongest films, but despite some messiness, Tenet shines as a fantastic action and time bending thriller film. Seeing the third act climatic sequence unfold on an IMAX screen was truly something to behold.

    An excellent origin film in the MCU, and one of the better films in this long running franchise. Action choreography was on point, the acting and comedy were well executed, and the sense of scale and wonder was just fantastic, echoing films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and other mystical Asian cinema. Simu Liu rises as a Marvel star, Awkwafina as a fantastic co-lead, and Tony Leung rises to the occasional with a fantastic, nuanced performance to become one of…
