Ryan Francis’s review published on Letterboxd:
There's a reason this film has two different reviews hailing it as 'brilliant' on the Blu-ray case alone - because it is. (Completely unlike my 'review' here.)
I just honestly don't think there's anything positive left to say about Refn's extraordinary film, it's all been said before countless times. I love Drive, it's a personal favorite that I've watched many times, and will continue to.
I finally got my uncle to watch it with me, which he kept putting off due to the excuse along the lines of, "Why would I want to watch some kid 'drive' around for two hours?"
He ended up really liking it.
