M. Gustave: "You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it."
Received an early birthday gift in the mail from my grandparents and it was the new Criterion Collection edition of Wes Anderson's magnificent The Grand Budapest Hotel. What a pleasant surprise in these uncertain times. Still an absolutely perfect film and almost guaranteed to improve on any mood. The new special features that are included are pretty delightful as well.
