Cube 2 carried over the concept of linked strangers being knocked out and brought to a cubed prison.

How did they get there and how do they get out is the premise of the whole movie?

Kari Matchett (who is lovely) is the lead, Grace Lynn Kung is another trapped person and is gorgeous.

Part of the allure of Cube for me was the intricate deathtraps and that part was seriously missing from this flick. I equated Cube to Saw, Final Destination and these other flicks that offer creative ways to no longer be alive.

The end is a head scratcher for me.

This franchise would have had a future if they had some consistency.

The hypercube was a digital gimmick that didn't look good.

For movies like this to work, I need the situation to not be hopeless. There has to be a way out.
