Bryan Espitia’s review published on Letterboxd:
Might sound weird, but I almost wish the movie was a little less ambitious. I felt like it got progressively less scary as more of the plot got revealed. I'm not terribly sold on the ending either. I think there are some good interpretations for the movie though, even though it plays just as well as a doppelganger horror film.
It's still great though. Peele is a fantastic director, he's great at crafting scares and there's some genuinely creepy imagery. Lupita Nyong'o KILLS it too. Just an amazing double performance. It was probably always gonna be hard to follow Get Out but this is a great sophomore effort.
