    Stylistically and cinematically, this film is stunning and mesmerizing. It is hard to look away, even though every minute is an excruciatingly painful, slow journey of looking inside yet another self-masturbatory Charlie Kaufman film.

    You know when you watch a movie you've been meaning to see for years but never got around to it, and then you realize that half of your favorite films/tv shows past 2003 are influenced by this movie in some way?

    Well, that happened to me. Mainly with how much modern neo-noir mirrors Oldboy stylistically.

    Also, the hammer hallway scene...Daredevil hallway scene...Right?

    This movie genuinely fucked me up. It was phenomenal - perfectly ridiculous and beautifully written. I'm going to think about this a lot tonight.
