i don't know if i can put together the words to express how much i love this film, but i'm going to try.
call me by your name is one of the most captivating and beautiful films i've ever seen. i'm not normally a fan of long films (100 minutes is usually the perfect length), but even these 130 minutes weren't enough. as the credits rolled i found myself wishing i could live inside this film for just a little longer -- i didn't want it to end. immediately after watching it i wanted to see it again. i can't stop thinking about it.
on a technical level, this film is nearly perfect. it's gorgeous to look at. the score was fantastic. the acting from both timothêe and armie was phenomenal and their chemistry is great. i can't imagine how comfortable you would have to be with yourself and with someone else to make a movie like this.
i wish i was a better writer so i could truly express how i feel about this. there's no way i can do justice to the masterpiece.
i want to watch it again right now.
summer didn't truly exist to me before i saw this movie.
