    Pain and Glory

On the nights where several aches coincide, those nights I believe in God. And I pray. On the days when I only have one kind of pain, I'm an atheist.

We must, at some stage of our lives, make amends for what we have done and what some people have done for us. Looking back on the memories and reflecting on the past that has shaped our existence is painful, but there will always be glory in the end. It…

    Four Aces

It’s quite disappointing that the only copy of this film is badly preserved; the missing reels, inaudible audio, and lack of score really makes it an unsatisfying experience. I feel like I would’ve liked this had i seen a complete properly restored version of it. But from what I’ve seen, it’s an epic swashbuckler film, with some really great costume designs, and beautiful composed shots here and there. Nonetheless, It was still interesting to see this film, and who knows, maybe someday a good copy of this pop out somewhere.

    I'm Thinking of Ending Things

I’ve been saying this since forever, Charlie Kaufman is truly one of the best screenwriters to this day. It’s quite sad that this might be the last film that he directs, but I hope he continues to write more screenplays, his work is always so meticulous and ambitious.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things is genuinely one of the most unsettling movies I’ve seen. It taps into something very uncomfortable, it crawls into your skin and by the end, it rips…
