Daniel Goss’s review published on Letterboxd:
Too busy wallowing in its own shallow nihilism to concern itself with saying anything worthwhile.
Pattinson is good as usual, but Holland especially gives a barnburner of a performance here. Can't wait to see him in something great someday.
Very convinced of its own scope but never becomes something that really clicks. More gears do not make the machine.
Among its worst offenses is a shockingly inappropriate use of its score, and that goddamn voiceover narration robs this film of any potential subtly and steps on the toes of anyone willfully watching.
Production was great. Water damaged walls and busted up car windows, loved all of that.
Overall, I give it five bags of popcorn and uh, maybe watch The Place Beyond The Pines for this but better.
