I cried a river when I read the book. I set my expectations low since it's a film. Though I wished I could turn back time on how the lines from the film pierced my weary heart and intertwined with the monologues from the film, they were sad but beautifully written.
Finch gave justice to how people with suicidal ideation act and behave. I admire how the story was straightforward but didn't forget to discuss how mental health should be prioritized in all ways and at all costs.
This is a love story that gives safe space for hearts that need to breathe and minds that need to be understood.
