Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once ★★★

"You're capable of anything because you're so bad at everything"

Admittedly, I wanted to like this more than I did... an interdimensional adventure that embraces the chaotic & absurd?.. count me in! Michelle Yeoh is excellent (as always) as a woman whose life is in disarray (her family, her job, you name it) but finds the opening of multiversal portals to other possible lives serves as a second chance to finding herself & her family. For all the welcome creative nonsense, it came to be more peripheral to the heart of the story - which unfortunately was very on the nose, a tad emotionally sophomoric & transparent, & sometimes caught alternating the extremes of narcissism & self-loathing.
