There is no way in hell that this should have ever got through the censors as a 12A certificate. I'm literally soiling myself with fear and I'm 42. Apparently 6 whole seconds were cut to allow this scare fest to allow 12 year old children have their lives eternally ruined by its intense imagary. Check out Danny Boyle's splendid venture into the space Sci-Fi genre with his 2007 Sunshine. I love this film. It pulls from so many influences from Science Fiction greats such as Alien, 2001, and even Event Horizon. The story is detailed with some excellent links to a huge number of films and comics. We are introduced to a host of great characters…

You've seen it a hundred times...but it never loses its charm. This classic Arnie Sci-Fi Action-er sees a crack team of commandos on a rescue mission in the Central American jungle. The mission goes from bad to worse as they soon realise a dangerous alien predator is hunting them down. This is one of my favourite Arnie films. It's tense, fast paced and full to the brim with enough action and bullets to take down a small country. It has…
