  Really powerful film,the 1950s look of the film especially when in the South looks so good. 

  Danielle Deadwyler is absolutely superb as Emmetts Mum, Mamie , looking forward to seeing her in more stuff , great to see some older more familiar actors in there too. Even though you know what’s going to happen from the premise the film it’s still shocking and moving when it arrives and interesting to read the true story info and updates  at the close…

  Sam Mendes latest , apparently a nod to his mother who suffered with mental health issues, forms the foundation of this 80s period piece set in 1980, with many nods to the pop culture of the time. Olivia Colman playing the lead here with absolute ease , Michael Ward is excellent as Stephen and great to see Colin Firth and Toby Jones here too with some other able supporting actors

  I have to give this a 5, obviously having a Fleming novel finally available to properly use helps but it gets so much correct for what a great Bond movie should be. Story, cast, screenplay, script, score, pacing and much more . Daniel Craig starts his run with a stunning performance which was never bettered. A classic debut.
