I’m not afraid to admit that I was so hyped that I was surprisingly emotionally raw as I was sitting down in the theater.

Once the 20th Century Fox fanfare began, I was so grateful for the 3D glasses covering my eyes.

I felt like a sponge that for three hours was slowly wrung dry. This is the way of water.

I’ll probably need to see it another 20 times. Can’t wait for The Seed Bearer.

That Uncle Boris scene. I mean, good gravy, that’s the stuff. But, in that scene, the very memorable moment in the monologue where he crosses his arms, one representing family, the other art, and he tears them apart is amazingly evocative of a point, but it’s a point Spielberg is making an entire movie to dispute.

I personally would've given Thomas F. Wilson a shiny golden man as a thank you for his performances here.

It is kind of weird how narratively everything involving Lorraine or George is basically completely dropped, and I miss both of them as young goofy kids, but the tradeoff is that Fox gets to be a real sneaky boy.

I know it's kind of cheating, but since this is only the second movie to have the Johnny B. Good sequence, it technically makes it a masterpiece. I don't make the rules.

Probably one the films I’ve watched the most in my life, and I think it keeps getting better.

When I was in like, sixth or seventh grade, my routine for a while was: wake-up, go to school, come home, watch Back to the Future. I know every frame of this sucker, and it still give me so much joy.

Silvestri’s score is just top-notch. The way it can glide with the tones of the film, bouncing between comedic, tension, surprise…

I don’t think anyone really appreciates how good we had it when we had Brendan Fraser consistently being a golden retriever as a human. Wonderfully charming movie that had me hooting and hollering.
