Dante’s review published on Letterboxd:
Rarely am I ever so enraptured by a movie. Harrowing moments of tragedy and tense dialogue scenes go on for what seems like an eternity as the movie is constantly building towards its climax, each new piece of information wracking the drama higher and higher. When the action finally hits its simply superb. Harakiri makes me appreciate Seven Samurai all the more, the plight of the ronin represented so poignantly. Tatsuya Nakadai is brilliant and I love the crazy bastard so much.
