Robbie’s review published on Letterboxd:
There’s probably a good movie in there somewhere, except only Christopher Nolan can see it. The trouble is that movie is a little too smart for it’s own good, to the point of obscuring the plot in needless confusion. There are a couple of enjoyable set pieces, but they’re few and far between. There’s always a lingering feeling that you just don’t understand what’s going on. Any small glimmer of insight is overwritten by another baffling action. I hoped for a late game revelation that would reveal Nolan’s genius plan, ala Memento, but sadly it never truly happens.
