There’s something almost quaint about this now. Marisa Tomei has a line that something to the affect of how the election won’t matter to everyday Americans. Compare that to where we are in 2018 and it’s pretty different.
As for the film itself, there was something missing when I first watched this and that remains the case. I can’t quite put my finger on it though. The cast are all great, I miss Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Evan Rachel Wood doesn't get enough to do though.
