Robert McDonald’s review published on Letterboxd:
Fun fact: this knocked off Goodfellas from the top spot at the box office. More than Sleeping with the Enemy, this seems like the text for the ire of the early part of Damon Packard’s Fatal Pulse. Obviously, fatal mistake making landlords the people to root for, especially one as big an asshole as Modine is here. Schlesinger tries to style it up here & there, but feels like he’s mostly on auto-pilot here, lost in the way too concerned with the law script he got. Keaton chasing after Melanie Griffith in a taxi on foot has high quality gif potential.
