Neither more nor less than what the previews indicate, Ready Or Not was a lot of fun in a late summer/just felt like going to the movies kind of way. However, RON just felt like it was trying so hard to make me like it, and I can’t help but feel like this panting pup quality will turn me off upon future viewings. 
Maybe that’s unnecessarily harsh. All I know is, David Fincher’s The Game, similarly about someone being puppeted by sinister forces, doesn’t have its hand up for high-fives, but I rewatch it almost every year. 
Regardless, Samara Weaving is the goods. I wouldn’t be mad to see her in more stuff.
