Sometimes  I can be so overwhelmed by a movie that all I can really say is, “I loved it”, which seems insufficient in the case of the 2018 Suspiria. So, more later. But I can’t think of a remake that has so completely reinvented the original as this one has. Everything about it: the script, performances, cinematography, sets, costumes, Thom Yorke’s music, was tip-top. Even if it weren’t a no-fucks-given reimagining, the new Suspiria is one of fhe best-produced movies of the year.
