Although everything technical about Midsommar is amazing; its excently shot, looks great, the sound is great and performances are really good, nothing about this really grabbed me. I don't want to say I was bored because I wasn't, I was interested and paying attention, but nothing really happens so I was left underwhelmed. Which is a shame considering how great everything else is, and I don't usually use this word lightley but by the end I just felt like I watched an extremely pretentious version of The Wicker Man.
