It's hard not to feel seduced by this extremely sensorial and aesthetically pleasing piece. As in his other works, the directing of the actors (or non-actors in this case), which always grants a degree of authenticity no other filmmaker rn seems to be as invested in, takes centre stage. Benoît and Pahoa (her accent is a gem) are miraculous together.
