Very well written and life goes on...
First of all, Franz Rogowski was great. I believe he is one of my favorite actors in the world. Great Freedom just not a touching movie about queer community but also very educational one about Germany's approach to gay people back in 1940's and post WWII era. The harmony between opening and ending scene was nearly flawless, especially ending. Georg Friedrich as Victor, seemed like a proper antagonist to me beginning of the movie however as we dive deeper we save his human side too.
MVP: Joe Mantegna
This movie doesn't take chess as the main tool. Being the good father and raising good children is one of the things the film teaches us. Bobby Fischer, on the other hand, is unfortunately processed enough in the movie. It's not a cult movie but it is watchable.
