Gotta let this set in a bit more, but I truly dug it.
I would also like to shout out my local Alamo Drafthouse for having a terrible projection that would make my first Solo: A Star Wars viewing look good in comparison. I'll probably end up seeing Suspiria again at some point at a better theater.
Anywho, I had a really good time. I loved everyone's performances, especially Tilda Swinton (sorry I stan!), and had the same fun rush of creative madness that movies like Annihilation gave me earlier that had me in awe of what I saw unfolding.
I was also pleasantly surprised that this didn't feel like a chore to get through like Call Me By Your Name did, and honestly I'd love to see more horror/genre stuff from Guadagnino because this truly is My Shit.
