This movie is absolutely insane.
I’m at a lose for words. Like what do you even say. This is without a doubt one of the craziest, most creative films I have ever seen. The women in front of me was so taken aback by this film, that at one of the biggest parts of the movie, she let out a blood curtailing scream. Brutal, horrific, and hilarious, a balancing act of genres. Perfectly shot, there is one shot in particular involving a character “peeking” over a staircase, that is my favorite shot of the year. This is a movie that feels completely bombastic yet very plausible. A lot of this is due to the incredible acting. Every actor does a great job. The production design is the absolute best of the year, the entire house feels real and is beautiful to look at. The disgusting poor house does a great job of making you feel really bad for our main family. Bong - Joon - Ho’s directing is brilliants day his script matches his directing chops. Everything you have heard about Parasite is true, it is absolutely incredible.
