    What a bunch of dorks

  • Duck Soup

    Duck Soup

    Banger movie

  • The Kissing Booth 3

    The Kissing Booth 3

Shockingly a vast improvement on the first two films. But still not great obviously.

  • Don't Look Up

    Don't Look Up

This is the worst movie I’ve ever seen nominated for best picture. It’s rare to see a movie with such a vile, tasteless, and cynical attitude. The fact that this is being paraded around as some grand social commentary is really a embarrassment, this is about as surface level and unsubtle as it gets. Adam McKay is a talentless hack, and between this and Vice perhaps the most annoying filmmaker working today. All of his movies are the textbook definition…

  • I Saw the Devil

    I Saw the Devil

    Fucking brutal.

A white knuckled and gory South Korean thriller. I would argue that I Saw The Devil features the most evil character I have ever seen in cinema. Superb writing, acting, and directing bring this brilliant anti - hero revenge story to life. While it can occasionally go a little over the top, I was consistently on the edge of my seat watching this. Great for Halloween, not particularly festive for Christmas.

  • Belfast

Simply the best movie. After seeing lots of other films try and fail to tell a similar story to this, watching Belfast was really refreshing.

  • Friendsgiving

Perhaps the laziest film I’ve ever seen?

  • Barry Lyndon

    Barry Lyndon

I actually watched this film a few weeks ago, but held off on reviewing it to really gather my thoughts. Barry Lyndon is a challenging and complicated film. It is, at times, undeniably tedious and boring, however this is an example of a case where that can be rewarding and work in the films favor. I do think this film is a masterpiece. For me, Barry Lyndon is a disturbingly effective look at how the pursuit of material success and…

  • Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

    Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

This is better than it has any right to be considering how terrible the first film is, but ultimately it’s just a below average kids film.

  • Cruella

    Kinda fun, kinda dumb

  • Boogie Nights

    Boogie Nights

I’ve been sitting here trying to write a review of this for about 30 minutes now. I, without exaggeration, can’t even put into words how perfect I think this movie is. A genuine masterpiece and a new favorite of mine. Please see it.
