Raul Marques’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's sort of whatever, sort of fun, but you knew that already.
People raising concerns about the duplicity of it being both an explicitly jingoist, Air Force propaganda vehicle and Kevin Feige's female empowerment movie are definitely correct, yet are also somewhat burying the lede by not mentioning the shaky Israeli-Palestinian conflict subtext. Would be substantially better if they just cut all the action, since the MCU continues to be incapable to turn out a single decent set piece, but when the cast is not engulfed by actively unpleasant CG and kept back by a remarkably generic plot, they really do shine and make for an amusing watch. Lashana Lynch is a great find and Mendlsohn's character needs its own spin-off.
