NESSIE?! YOU NICKNAMED MY DAUGHTER AFTER THE LOCH NESS MONSTER?!?!??
Parody-proof. It's almost like the series suddenly became aware of its inherent ridiculousness and decidedly to full-blown double down on it (yet not really, as it's largely a result of having to amp up the antics for a grandiose finale in a story whose original draw was somewhat mundane). Funny enough, while this technically may very well be the worst chapter, with particularly terrible direction, cinematography and CGI (I need the oral history behind that Demon Baby asap), it's easily the funnest, funniest and probably the least problematic of all five, which is definitely saying something about the rest. The fake-out battle is just amazing, I wish I was at the theater to know the reaction from both real fans and unsuspecting casuals. Still found the 'A Thousand Years' montage at end moving. It's the lowest of low bars, but this unironically ends better than Game of Thrones and the latest Star Wars trilogy.
Twilight > Breaking Dawn Part 2 > Breaking Dawn Part 1 > New Moon > Eclipse
(I'm taking suggestions for which film series I should watch next)
