Rhys’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a spectacular film. A brilliantly dominant performance from Roman Griffin Davis, supported by an Oscar worthy Scarlet Johansen and all else who are absolutely perfect.
It's smart and funny and just when you get settled it smacks you with such poignance. It strikes this balance with ease, so much so that by the end you're also overwhelmed when the war ends and all they can do is dance.
