Jackie Brown ★★★★

Outstanding Tarantino adaptation of Elmore Leonard's "Rum Punch" complemented by a wonderful cast and a killer soundtrack. Filled with Tarantino's usual savvy cinematic flair, the film reaches for far higher glory than it achieves; still, its awfully entertaining. May not have the fresh urgency of Reservoir Dogs or the revolutionary influence of Pulp Fiction but it seems to complete a trilogy of the nineties for the director.
Required viewing for Tarantino fans and a film that may provide a more open window for those who haven't yet begun to appreciate this modern master of cinema.
