Uhhhh this may come as a surprise, but for me, watching this on a small screen at home, I was kind of underwhelmed by the camera quality while watching the film

Of course, at points the film had breathtaking beauty and quality, but at other points it seemed to be fuzzy

It’s really long but didn’t feel tooooo long

It’s weird that this film almost didn’t feel like a Kubrick film, aside from Barry’s character arc

    Although the plot was…

    Omggggggg

A lot of what I’m going to say has been, of course, already said

Every scene in this movie looks like a pairing, and being hand painted and 2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES, this is the highest praise I can give this film

    WOW

    I love this

This is the definition of 1940’s cinema

It kind of worked out perfectly in the end but it felt great and justified

The fact that this film came out while World War II was still happening is shocking

I would like to know the impact that this film had during the war

    Hamilton

I watched the first like 40 minutes of this and thought it was really impressive

    Script is incredible

The weird rhyme schemes that are employed and very interesting and fun to listen to

The clear distancing and envy growing between Burr and Hamilton was well executed and shown through literal distance between them on stage and then the progression of both of their story lines

    Cast is obviously amazing

Might just have to go back and finish this one

For now, no rating because that would be unfair
