The Wonderful Women of Letterboxd

Unfairly lambasted for their filmic opinions — whether it be rightful criticism of cinema’s not-so-subtle sexism, or polarizing praise for a feature many people didn’t take to — women represent some of the most important voices on Letterboxd. On countless occasions, I’ve found their observations to provide a refreshing linguistic diversity, and have forced me to check my own gendered shortcomings as a male critic. Listed below are some of the platform’s finest.
