Ryan McSwain’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Hi. Got a tape I want to play."
Korg synthesizers, big suits, and running in place.
This movie deserves its reputation as one of the greatest concert films of all time. Spot-on camera work, solid sound, and it captures the creativity and energy of a unique band at the height of their popularity.
In the era of YouTube concert footage, it's nice to see a concert filmed with such style. I know they combined footage from multiple shows, but it hides the cameras so well and fits together so seamlessly.
I'll add this to my short list of favorite things about the Talking Heads:
* Kermit singing "Once in a Lifetime"
* True Stories, maybe the most accurate film set in Texas
