I haven't seen this in ages and, as a result, this felt like I was watching it for the first time. And I had to kick it up to a full five star rating.
Mysterious, hypnotic, captivatingly strange and completely engaging throughout, Blue Velvet is a masterpiece and one of David Lynch's finest efforts to date.
And a little Brad Dourif never hurt anyone.
