Mediocre
This movie is the definition of mediocre. Mediocre story, mediocre writing, mediocre action, mediocre suspense, mediocre tone( the tone in this movie is all over the place), mostly mediocre everything. There are story lines in this movie that are introduced and then just get dropped and don't mentioned again. God, the writing in this movie is so lazy, especially compared to the great writing of the first two. I love the first two Lethal Weapons and so I was expecting much better from this movie. The pacing also, before I forget, is so bad in this movie. The first two movies literally flew by with excellent pacing, but this movie felt like it was four hours long. In 90% of its elements, Lethal Weapon 3 is a letdown.
I wouldn't say it's downright horrible and it has some good things( the chemistry between Glover and Gibson is still amazing, it has a decent soundtrack, it's still pretty well made even though it seems like there wasn't much effort put into the movie, it has a few decent lines and a few laughs), but it's not a good movie.
Also, I swear to god, if I heard Pesci say ok one more time in this stupid movie, I was going throw something at my tv. He's pretty funny in 2, but he's so goddamn annoying in this movie and he had no reason to be in the movie whatsoever. Ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn4jIlFwuLU This movie isn't really worth watching, even if you are a fan of the first two, like me. Well, I hope 4 is better than this.
