*How i rated this short*
3 stars: for how good this movie translates depression/mental health to the general masses. if it was a little longer it would've been better.
.5:cause the director is my friend and I'm not biased.
if Lost In Translation and I'm Drunk I Love You had a child it'd be Sid & Aya. the cinematography, the color and vibrance is an eye candy excellent use of location lights and angles.
Dingdong was killing it with the portrayal of Sid, a rich in money but poor in sleep depressed stockbroker.
as always been a fan of Anne's acting skills, she had no problem playing a happy go lucky and driven Aya.
probably one of the best if not, the best film that I've watched that portrays Mental health/Depression.
the damage it does to one's self and others. how it looks outside and how it feels inside. the never ending uncertainty for the future.
how mundane things seems to be a burden. our own little fantasy we try to believe as our own reality..
this movie resonates to my core.
