about halfway through when susie said “why is everyone so ready to think the worst is over?” & tilda swinton proceeded to make direct eye contact with the camera, i got very nervous at what the implications of that moment could be, and honestly they were much worse and much more disturbing than i was imagining.

even if the songs were actually good (instead of whatever shitty slam poetry that was), hamilton as a whole would still be awful. im sorry, but in what way is casting poc to play white, horrifically racist historical figures woke? while also completely skipping over all the terrible shit they did in an attempt to deify them??
