Well this was 18 years in the making.
Now, I for one really enjoyed Doctor Strange. Multiverse of Madness on the other hand...well it's a solid outing. The acting was really good. I liked how they handled Wanda and her being a sympathetic villain was great. The multiverses we do see were cool and there were even a few surprising cameos (though Bruce Campbell will always be my favorite in a Sam Raimi movie). The action was well done. The effects were great.
I do wish it went all in on the multiverse though. Like when Doctor Strange first travels we see all kinds of universes, but the main ones we focus on are okay. Like get weird have them be paint for like 20 minutes. Also the internet did ruin one cameo a certain someone with the initials JK playing a character named RR (don't want to spoil it) and I really hope they don't give him a whole movie because listening to the internet is how we got Rise of Skywalker and I don't think we want a repeat of that.
Still, on the whole it's a good time and a good start for the multiverse thing Marvel is doing. I just wish they let Sam Raimi loose and go full Evil Dead 2 or something.
