It has a few laughs here and there. Sam Morril is a great comedian and is finally getting some well-deserved exposure. There snippets in this doc from tons of NY comics and their thoughts on how the pandemic has effected their lives.
Dark and Twisted. The Devil All The Time is a bleak film. It is also very predictable. Pattinson puts on a great performance and everyone else is satisfactory. The movie has zero laughs or warmth to it. Tom Holland's character is likeable, I guess (?), but doesn't feel very unique. Overall, visually stylish and exciting.
Last time I saw 2001 was at the IMAX for its 50th anniversary. An unbelievable experience. It's not as impressive at home, but it's still an incredible work of art. There are tons of great abstract and ambiguous elements in this movie, but my favorite moments are between Dave and HAL.
