-angelina jolie as an androgynous lesbian
-young jenny lewis singing in the grocery store
-homoerotic candlelight stick-and-poke scene 
-multiple twin peaks actors 
-portland landmarks !
-the outfits !
-the soundtrack !

this might be my favorite coming-of-age teen girl friend group movie ever
