Gone Girl

Gone Girl ★★★★★

When I first heard they were adapting the book I was a bit afraid. How could they manage to convey all the book made me feel in a film?

When I heard that Fincher would be directing and the script would be written by Gillian Flynn I knew it'd be in safe hands. Even though I knew what'd happen next I still felt surprised about how well put it was into film. And as usual, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have composed an amazing soundtrack, it lulls you into a sense of false security but underneath you know that something is terribly wrong, exactly like in the book.

The cast are great, Rosamund Pike is terrific and so is Ben Affleck. Heck, even Tyler Perry is good in his role and that was unexpected.

tl;dr: I had great expectations about this and I wasn't disappointed. Go see it
