Wyatt Pike’s review published on Letterboxd:
Still love this movie just as much as I did the first time I saw it. This is really just a special film I think. It’s one that’s stayed in my head for the past year or so since I saw it last, which was when I saw it in theaters. The relationship between JoJo and Elsa really is just sweet, and the ending scene sort of just lives in my mind rent free. There’s really only one joke in this film that falls flat for me, but honestly, I don’t even mind that, because I love everything else about this movie so much. Taika Waititi is a director I have followed for awhile now, and honestly, I think this is his best film to date. He has made me laugh a lot over the years, but here, he really has touched me. I love this movie, and I don’t care what anyone may say, I think it’s basically perfect.
