I’ve put off watching this movie for a while—don’t really know why—but I’m glad I finally got to watch it. I like how it tells this story many years before the present, because of the frowning upon at that time.
There were some very cute moments between Elio and Oliver, and there were some serious ones. My personal favorite was the iconic, “call me by your name” speech, just because at the end of the movie on the phone call, they call each other their own names.
