  uhhhhh i really want to love this film and it’s kinda cute and fun but also kevin forcibly kisses, sedates and kidnaps a woman and then she falls in love with him???

  the storyline is the most basic male gaze rom com (woman continuously says no to persistent man, we have to believe she means yes, she gets jealous when he finally accepts she’s saying no, they get together etc), im just bored of this… the only interesting thing is the age gap which feels almost completely unexplored apart from a few empty comments…….. also incredibly long

  some bits i really enjoyed : children selling water beds, drifting down a hill backwards in a truck
