This town has always has its share of crazies, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else
Seeing this movie in a packed theater, sitting next to someone who saw it at the original Dobie screenings, and hearing from the cast who all got roped into being in this movie was damn near pleasant. Everyone in Austin should be demanding rezoning and affordable housing from their city council representative to give opportunities for current and future slackers to work on their JFK conspiracy manuscripts. And say what you will, but I would buy a book called conspiracy a go-go
The documentary was truly an experience from start to finish. Its dynamic editing kept you at the edge of your seat in anticipation of the next scene, which could be either a beautiful plant timelapse, stunning landscapes, or a polygraphist hooking up a plant with electrodes and showing some circumstantial proof that the plant read his mind.
The films ultimate theme of the interconnectedness of all things, and a suggestion that higher consciousness can be available to us to perceive…
